Brighton Organic Market and Sunday at the Port this week

SIOz will be at the Brighton Organic and Healthy Living Market on the 5th and 19th of August. This is the last month of my trading there until my return from overseas.

Of course, the Port Market will continue, with the kind assistance of fibre artist Eric Corbin and the early-opening skills of my partner, Richard.

This Sunday, the 8th, is my birthday. And I’ve got something new to bring to the Port — some fun kits of the Milk Can bag, made with SWTC Karaoke yarn. There’s a nice supply of colours to please just about everyone at the kit price of $28.00 (pattern and 5 balls of Karaoke). Something fun to knit to get ready for spring. If you haven’t knitted with this yarn, you’ve been missing out. It’s soft, the colours are rich and vibrant, and it felts brilliantly.

For those of you who are venturing out the the Mt. Pleasant Fleece and Fibre Fair, SIOz will be there this year. Normally, I’m already overseas when it is on, but this year, I am here and can’t wait. It’s a great day out. There will be sock yarn specials, which I don’t often do, but hey, it’ll be warmer weather soon, when socks are great holiday projects.
